WHEN WE DECIDED TO ENTER IN THE WORLD OF BEEF

At All Fresh Seafood, we take our product and partners extremely seriously. When we decided to enter in the world of beef, we didn’t take this decision lightly. We could have very easily gone the price route being less than 10 miles from one of the biggest meat markets in the world – the Hunts Point Terminal market in the Bronx, New York. That would have been the easy way out. After much thought and consideration, All Fresh Seafood has been built on Quality First at all costs, so there was only one logical decision in finding a partner to support us in our efforts in bringing a USDA Prime Meat Program nationwide. That decision was to align with Pat Lafrieda Meat Purveyors. Here is the story of their journey.....

THE LAFRIEDA STORY IS A FAMILY STORY

100 years ago in Naples, Italy, our great-grandfather Anthony lost a fistfight outside a butcher shop.

A job offer from the sympathetic owner and our great-grandfather's knack for the trade eventually led Anthony to open his own shop on America's shores.

Now in our fourth generation, we've never stopped fighting for what we believe in, especially to give restaurants and home across the country access to America's highest quality meats.

WE CHANGED THE MEAT GAME.

Whether hand-hauling 200lb sides of beef up multiple flights of stairs in the 1960's like Pat Sr., or Pat Jr. passing up a lucrative Wall Street career in the 1990's to revolutionize the family business, that fighter spirit has transformed a humble mom-and-pop meat shop into America's most progressive purveyor.

From developing the world-famous Shake Shack burger blend to perfecting the dry-aged beef process in our state-of-the-art facility, we've never stopped pushing the meat industry forward.

Their story is humble, but the operation is not – it boasts a dry aging room that is one of the biggest in the land that holds over 12,000 cuts at any given time. This is not and I repeat supermarket quality beef – this is what the best steakhouses all over the country are seeking to put on their menus, and we hope you try it as well.
