Our Deliciously Sweet and Fresh King Crab Legs are a hit on any table! These legs come cooked to perfection and don't need much work to enjoy, follow these simple steps for the perfect crab leg, everytime!
1. Thaw
- when our Alaskan King Crab arrives at your doorstep, it has already been cooked to perfection, glazed for protection and flash-frozen for quality.
- After unpacking your king crab legs, place them in your fridge to thaw overnight for 8 - 12 hours
2. Prepare
- There are 4 popular and equally easy ways to prepare king crab:
Grill:
You'll Need: Oil, Brush, Grill Tongs
Instructions: 1. Brush oil on all sides of the king crab legs to prevent them from sticking. 2. Place king crab legs on medium-low grill (about 300 degrees Fahrenheit) for five minutes. 3. Turn them over and cook for another five minutes until they are heated all the way through.
Steam:
You'll Need: Tall Pot with a cover, Salt, A strainer or steamer insert, Any seasoning ingredients, like lemon slices, herbs or garlic.
Instructions: 1. Fill a tall pot with a few inches of water, and add any seasonings or just a pinch of heavy salt. 2. Once the water is boiling, insert the steamer basket or the colander and fill with king crab legs, using kitchen shears to carefully cut king crab legs at the joints to fit, if needed. 3. Cover the pot and basket and steam king crab legs for 5-10 minutes until heated through.
Bake:
You'll Need: Baking Dish, Aluminum Foil, Any Seasoning ingredients, like lemon slices, herbs, or garlic.
Instructions: 1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and place the king crab legs in the baking dish with lemon or any other flavorful ingredients. 2. Pour about 1/8 inch of hot water in the bottom of the pan, then cover everything tightly with aluminum foil. 3. Cook for 10 minutes until heated through.
Boil:
You'll need: Tall pot with a cover, Salt, Any seasoning ingredients, like lemon slices, herbs, or garlic.
Instructions: 1. Fill a large pot half full of cold water, add a heavy pinch of salt and any seasonings and bring to a boil. 2. When the water begins to boil, add the king crab legs and reduce the heat to medium. Allow them to simmer for about six minutes. 3. Take the king crab legs out of the water and let them drain before plating.
