Ingredients:
Anchovy Paste:
- 8 oz Anchovies, Choose your Favorite Flavor - I'm using Garlic
- 4 oz Garlic Paste
- 4 oz Basil
- 4 oz Mustard
- 4 oz Sherry Vinegar
- 16 oz EVOO
Puttenesca:
- 2 Cups Homemade Marinara Sauce - Hot
- 1/2 lb of pasta
- 1/2 Cup pasta water
- 1/2 cup of your favorite pitted olives
- 1/4 cup of our anchovy Paste
- 1/4 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
- Fresh Cracked Pepper to Taste
To plate the pasta:
1. Bring Pasta Water to a boil in one pan and heat up your Marinara sauce in another pan.
2. Cook Pasta according to directions on the box. Save 1 cup of pasta water and set aside then Drain pasta.
2. Add hot pasta water to the pan and add the anchovy paste to the pan and whisk together
3. Add the pasta to the pan and combine thoroughly
4. Add the olives
6. Add in your sauce the sauce and toss 2-3 times then transfer to your plate
7. Top with Cheese and Black Pepper - Enjoy!
Chef Tip: Adding all the ingredients hot will prevent the cooked pasta from over cooking and will make this a super fast meal!
