Prep time – 20 mins Serves 6
INGREDIENTS
Tuna Steaks (2.5 lbs. Tuna 1.5 in thick)
Corn or flower tortilla, use your favorite
Marinade
Juice of 1 lemon
Juice of 1 orange
Juice of 1/2 lime
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 TBSP EVOO
1 TBSP sesame oil
1/2 TSP orange pepper
4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
2 TBSP ginger, finely chopped
1 small red onion, diced
1 TBSP dried parsley
1 TSP black pepper
1 TSP sesame seeds
Slaw
1 small head red cabbage, shredded, 4 stalks chopped scallions, cashews (optional), sliced jalapeños
Dressing
1/3 cup EVOO
1/4 soy sauce
2 TBSP sesame oil
1/2 TSP black garlic pepper
1/4 rice vinegar
1 TSP sesame seeds
Sriracha Aioli
Whip a few TBSP of leftover marinade with mayo, Sriracha, chopped parsley, juice of 1/2 lime
INSTRUCTIONS
Combine ingredients for the marinade, put tuna steaks in and marinate.
Prepare the slaw
Pan sear tuna steaks in hot pan with EVOO, 1- 2 mins each side
Assemble the taco’s and enjoy!
