mignonette sauce

The classic pairing for Oysters 

 

Ingredients:

1/2 cup minced Shallots

1/4 cup white vinegar

1/4 cup rice vinegar

1/8 ysp kosher salt 

1.25 tsp finely crushed white peppercorns 

 

Preparations:

1. COMBINE ALL INGREDIENTS FOR THE SAUCE AND LETS SIT OVERNIGHT IF POSSIBLE 

2. SHUCK OYSTERS AND SERVE OVER A BED OF CRUSHED ICE WITH LEMONS  

3. USE THE MIGNONETTE IN PLACE OF COCKTAIL SAUCE
